Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Two of my favorite recipes! I've tried many a salsas in my day and this is by far my favorite and don't shy away from the lime shake, it is delish!

Alyssa's Amazing Salsa(from Emeril)

3 or 4 garlic cloves
1 frozen bag of corn(small)
1/2 red onion
1 lime
handful of cilantro
cayenne pepper
1 T. chipolte/adobe sauce
2 cans diced tomatoes
chips

Brown corn on stove, sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Chop garlic, onion & cilantro and put in medium bowl. Also, add the chipolte pepper in adobe sauce, I usually chop up some of the pepper and add it in the sauce. The heat of the salsa depends on how much you use. Squeeze the lime juice in and mix. Throw in the tomatoes, try to use the best or freshest brand you know.

Lime Shake from Brandon

Fill a blender up halfway with milk. Quarter a lime and throw it in there, blend. Strain and put mixture back in blender. Add a cup of sugar and fill almost to the top with ice and a little more sugar. Blend and enjoy, so good and not what you expect!
